This is an online community website that simply allows people to ask questions for others to answer. This service is free to use even if you do not register.

You are able to find questions that have been previously asked simply by typing your question into the text box on the home page and clicking on the submit button. Based on what you enter, this website will find the best questions that match what you are looking for. You can think of this website as a search engine to find questions that have already been asked.

You can also view all the questions asked within the various categories listed within this website. These categories are listed on the left side of the home page.

Once you have found your question, simply click on the question and all the current answers to that question will be displayed.

Ask it. After you try searching for your question, you will be allowed to submit your question for others to answer. Simply enter the question on the home page as a new question for people to answer.

Depends. This website will display your question for others to answers as soon as you submit your question. There is no waiting period before others are able to start answering questions. This website will also "broadcast" your question to the major search engines for others to find.

Once your question has been submitted, you will be given a link to click on to be notified once the question is answered. The notify link is an RSS (really simple syndication) feed that will allow your computer to notify you once someone answers your question. The basic concept is that your web browser or RSS software will automatically check this website to see if answers to your questions have been posted and notify you to check this website to view the answers.

Once you click on the notify link, your browser will ask if you want to subscribe to the feed. Once you subscribe, your browser will check for answers automatically whenever you use the browser.

If you want to be notified when a previously asked question is answered (even though it was asked by someone else), you can click on the Notify Me link next to the question. Same as before, once you subscribe to the feed your browser will notify you when questions are answered.

In order to cut down on the amount of emails floating around on the internet and to keep your mailbox manageable, it was decided to notify users via RSS feeds (see previous question) rather than emails. We did not want to clutter everyone's email box every time someone answers a question. By using RSS feeds, questions are organized per feed and are easily managed by your web browser.

Simply click on the "Submit Your Answer" link next to the question that you want to answer. After submitting your answer, the website will automatically include your answer to the list of answers to the question.

No. This allows the content to remain unchanged to allow people to vote on the best answer over time.

Yes and no... You are able to enter any text for your questions and answers as long as it does not contain any inappropriate words and does not contain misspellings. This is needed to help make sure that the content posted on this website is appropriate. This website will notify you as soon as one of these violations occurs.

You can simply click on the report abuse link for the question or answer that contains the inappropriate content. Once the link is clicked, you will be able to enter your report for us to review. After the review, the answer or question that is reported will either be accepted or deleted from our website. Once deleted, it will be removed. If accepted, the report abuse link will be removed for the question or answer and the question or answer will remain on this website.

All reports will be reviewed in the order they are received. There is no guaranteed time frame for the review however we will review all reports as soon as possible. Until the review occurs, the content will remain with an indication that it has been flagged as abuse.

The best answer leaders simply displays the users who have provided the best answers to various questions. Registered users have the ability to vote on the best (and worst) answer to the various questions. Each vote contains a point value based on the answers provided. The leaderboard will display the user with the most points.

There are two levels to the best answer leaders. The overall leaderboard is displayed as soon as you enter the website. This displays the users with the best answers across all questions within this website. Each category leaderboard is displayed as soon as you view a question for a specific category of questions. The category leaderboards will display the users with the best answers within that category.

First, you must be registered and logged into to this website. After that, you will be provided links to vote for the best answer and the worst answer for each question. You will be allowed to vote once for the best and worst answer for each question. If you try to vote more than once, only the last vote will be saved and your prior votes will be deleted for that question.
